nobackground.io is a photo editor that removes the background of any image with AI, free and unlimited, with no sign-up. Everything runs in your browser, so your photo never leaves your device.
How it works
1. Choose a photo (or drag it in, or paste it with Ctrl+V) and tap "Remove background".
2. If a part came out wrong, open "Smart removal", paint over the object with "Erase" or "Keep" and tap "Apply".
3. Open "Background" to pick Transparent or White, then tap "Download".
What you get
Input: JPG, PNG, WebP and other formats your browser can open, up to 50 MB and 100 megapixels. Output: transparent PNG or WebP, JPG with a white background, a sticker or a compact PNG. The longest side of the download is at most 4096 px on a computer and 2048 px on a phone.
Free and private
The tool is free, with no photo limit and no account. The AI runs on your device, so the photo is not sent anywhere. The site is kept running by ads; read the Privacy policy to see how they work.
