White background for product photos

Online stores and marketplaces often ask for product photos on a plain white background. Cut the product out and place it on white, or keep it transparent, in your browser and for free.
How to do it
1. Open the tool and choose the product photo. The background is removed for you; if not, tap Remove background.
2. In the Background tab, pick White.
3. In the Crop tab, choose a Square or other Aspect ratio that fits your listing, then use Fit to subject.
4. Open Download options: JPG gives a white background, PNG keeps it transparent.
Tips for better product photos
Light the product evenly, keep it in focus and shoot against a surface that contrasts with it. The cut-out is cleaner when the product edge is clear.
Check each marketplace's rules for image size, aspect ratio and background shade, since they change over time.
Fixing the edges
In the Eraser tab, Erase removes leftover background and Restore brings back parts that were cut by mistake. Photos are processed one at a time.
